Andrew Germond

Andrew G is a teacher in the Gatitos classroom. He grew up in San Francisco’s Mission District and has two young sons. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in education from SFSU and will be an accredited teacher by summer 2024. He believes in providing a safe and joyful space where children can freely express themselves through art, storytelling, music, and play. He understands that each child is a unique individual with their own strengths and challenges and is committed to recognizing and celebrating these differences. Through patience, empathy, and understanding, he aims to cultivate a sense of self-confidence and independence in every child.
